Kayak hire and tours are available from most beaches in and around the Costa Brava. Below we have listed a few of the tours
available.

Tamariu
|
Half day course, 3 hour duration
This excursion departs from Tamariu and follows the coast by passing by Aigua Xelida, Pals Dels Pins, Cova De Bisbe and
Cala Marquesa until Cova De'n Gisbert (the deepest and most spectacular cave in the area). After a little break you will
return back to Tamariu. This is the shortest and easiest of all the tours listed and is appropriate for beginners. You
will kayak 2.9 nautical miles (5.4km) of beautiful coastline.
Tamariu is a 10 minute drive from Calella, 30 minutes from
L'Estartit.

Castell Beach
|
Half day course - 4 hour duration
Castell beach is situated in between Calella De Palafrugell
and La Fosca and should not be confused with Castell Mar. This excursion follows the coast passing through La Forda, a
tunnel in the rocky walls which was naturally formed by the crystalline waters of the sea. It's then on to Cala
Marquesa where the landscape will change to a less abrupt coast, comprised of many rocky cliffs and many small creeks
hiding enchanting white sandy beaches. Then onto Cala Estreta followed by Cala Bona and El Crit to Banyera Dela Russa
where a little break is taken before heading back to Castell.
This tour is classed as easy and is recommended for beginners. It covers 3.8 nautical miles (7km). Platja Castell is
one of the longest beaches on the Costa Brava to have remained absolutely virgin thanks to ecological movements.
